The Standard Behind Our Independent Publishing House
Svanborg R. Jónsdóttir
Co-founder & PublisherSvanborg Rannveig Jónsdóttir is an Icelandic writer, educator, researcher, and independent publisher whose lifelong career has been dedicated to helping people learn, innovate, and think creatively.
After spending twenty-eight years as a compulsory school teacher, she completed her PhD in Education at the University of Iceland in 2011, specialising in Innovation Education. She later served as lecturer and professor at the University of Iceland's School of Education, contributing to the development of innovation and entrepreneurial education both nationally and internationally.
Her passion for education continues today through Svanjons Publication, where decades of academic experience shape every book the company chooses to publish.
Stella Renee Stuart
Co-founder & PublisherStella Renee Stuart combines a lifelong passion for education, history, and sustainable living with over two decades of teaching and international experience across Iceland, the US, the UK, Romania, and Denmark.
Her fascination with history, particularly the inspiring achievements of women, has shaped much of her writing, while her journey into homesteading has inspired practical books that encourage readers to build more sustainable and fulfilling lives.
Together with her family, Stella transformed a suburban backyard into a productive mini-farm, and now shares that practical knowledge through her books, workshops, and community work.
